Thomas, Labour M.P. and railway leader, in an interview, said that neither the railwayman nor any other form of labour would submit to conscription. If any attempt, wore made to introduce compulsion, the'' Government, instead of having to face undivided, the military situation, would'bo face to face with an 'industrial problem. He added: "The war will only be won by the unanimity of all sections."-
