WAR PENSIONS
'APPOINTMENT OF : THE BOARD; The determination of various quesJ tions arising out of applications for war pensions by or on behalf of disabled soldiers or tho dependents of soldiers,!' killed or disabled, is to rest with a. board, for which provision is made itt the Act. One stipulation is that one of three members of the board shall bo a medical man. ■ • Following will be the members of tli4 board:— Colonel 6. F. 0. Campbell, W.ellipc:-' ton. Coast Defence Commander, and'(ini his civilian capacity) secretary to thei Treasury and Paymaster-General. Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, Stipendiary. Magistrate at Wellington. Dr. Pollen, Port Health' Officer at Wellington. War pensions, as well as all other! pensions payable by tlie State, are to' •be under tho Ministerial control of the Hon. A. M. Myers. Mr. 6. C. Facbe, lead of the Pensions Department, will be secretary, to tho War Board.
