THE TSINGTAO CUSTOMS AGREEMENT
WHAT CHINA GAINS. By Telegraph—Preaa Association—Copyright (Rec. August 19, 10.20 p.m.) Tokio, August 19. The Chino-Japanese Agreement, governing the administration of the Tsingtao Customs, has been signed. Japan agrees to tho conditions previously in forco between Germany and China. All the captured documents, moheys, and properties belonging to the Chinese Government have been returned, and all Customs dues collected since the capture of Tsingtao returned, less 20 per cent.
