BOWLING
.THE JOHNSONVILLE CLUB. The seventh annual meeting of the Johnsonville Bowling Club was held on Wednesday evening, when there was a good attendance of members. The president (Mr. W. L. Thompson), in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, expressed regret that owing to the war and other unavoidable circumstances, the club had suffered by loss of members, and he made a special appeal to tlio present members to assist ill strengthening the finances of tlio club, which appeal was enthusiastically responded to. With this assistance and that of a number of residents who had signified their intention of becoming members, he looked forward to a pleasant and prosperous bowling season. The following officers were clected for the ensuing season President, Mr. W. L. Thompson; vice-president, Air. H. J5. Harrap; hon. treasurer, Rev. F. H. i'etrie; hon. secretary, Mr. Alec.
