ORGANISATION FOR. RETURNING WOUNDED. • Tlio new Minister of Publio Health, is organising medioal and hospital services for tho treatment of returned wounded soldiers. "I have already taken steps," Mr. Russell said yesterday, "to ascertain the number of beds that will bo available for wounded soldiers at all the hospitals of the Dominion, the 'intention being to distribute the men among those hospitals where they will be accessible to their relatives ajid friends. But men whoso cases are sucli as to require the attention of the staffs of our leading hospitals will ho sent to one or other of those hospitals on their arrival. "Having arranged with tflie Wellington Hospital Board for the establishment of an annexe to their hospital, I hope shortly to meet members of the medical profession in Wellington with a view of organising tho medioal services, and then I intend to go to Auckland, W-aikato, and Rotorua for tho purpose of placing the organisation in those districts on a proper footing."
