MILITARY UNITS DONATING. The raising of money with whipli to purchase machine-guns for our troops at Gallipoli has made a' wide nnd searching apiieal. With the £600 collected or promised at tlie Savage Clul) on Saturday evening, the amount that has been subscribed in Wellington already amounts to over £1000.. The latest subscription to, he mado to the fund is the sum of £80 donated by the Wellington Garrison Artillery, which' amount was handed to the Minister of Defence last week, and was not reported as are the daily amounts sent in to the Mayor.
