The prize consists of 4000 fully-paid-up shares of .£1 each in the Mar'aetai Farms, Ltd. The property consists of 67,820 acres, and is situated on the Taupo-Totara Railway Co.'s line of railway, the Maiaetai railway station being about M miles from Putovuru, where the line junctions with the R-otorua lino. Nearly the wholo of the land is easily ploughable, and will in a few years be first-clas dairying and fattening oountry. This is an art union in.a good cause, and a whole-hearted and spontaneous responso will surely eventuate.
