Tickets for the Waikato land, generous, ly donated to the New Zealand Patriotic Society by Mr. John M'Master, of the Wairarapa, are now oil- sale. The prize consists of 4000 fully-paid-up shares of .£1 each in the Mar'aetai Farms, Ltd. The property consists of 67,820 acres, and is situated on the Taupo-Totara Railway Co.'s line of railway, the Maiaetai railway station being about M miles from Putovuru, where the line junctions with the R-otorua lino. Nearly the wholo of the land is easily ploughable, and will in a few years be first-clas dairying and fattening oountry. The price of the ticksts is ss. each, and only 100,000 aro being sold, and. those who intend taking tickets ire advised to "-waste no time about making their -purchase. This is an art union in.a good cause, and a whole-hearted and spontaneous responso will surely eventuate. Tickets are being sold from Norfh Cape to the Bluff, and after deducting the 1 necessary cost of promoting this art union—expenses such as advertising and printing—tho proceeds will be divided, equally between the four military districts of Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otngo for tho relief of their ivoundcd soiiUors and dependents.
