PETONE MAN MISSING

A man named George Aspleit, residing at 65 Nelson Street, Petone, is reported to have been missing from his lioino since late on Wednesday evening. As Asplet had been suffering from a nervous breakdown, some fears aro expressed as to his safety. The missing man is about thirty years of age, sft. Gin. iu height, of a pale complexion, and was wearing a dark suit, brown sweater, black boots, light crown, cap, and a dark green overcoat. Tho Hutt and Potono police have so far been unablo to discover any trace of Asplet, and iu all probability search parties will bo organised to scour the adjaccnt hills. Asplet was employed at the Gear Company for some years, but recently had been working at the Petone Gas AVorks.
