John Griffiths, charged with the murder of his father, who was found at his home in Pyrmont with several of his fingers severed, his head split, and a sword alongside, has been committed for trial. Tho polico evidence showed that the murder was tho result of trouble between the father and the mother. The son cautioned the father, who on Saturday again insulted the mother, tho son seizing a sw.ord which the father got in the Boxer war, inflicting fatal injuries.
