It has been suggested that there should be a union with New York, hut to this they aro opposed, fearing that the Gorman mark may have to play second liddle to the American dollar. It lias also been, suggested to tax all goods on invoice and any coin, except the mark. Other papers suggest that Germany should reimburse the bank capital by two hundred million marks, but this is considered a risky experiment.
