"THE DOMINION" LISTS. TOBACCO FUND. Every half-crown contributed to tho Fund means 100 cigarettes and 4oz. of tobacco for distribution amongst New Zealanders tho front; and what is equally important, each, package mil contain a printed slip, stating that it is a gift presented by-the people of Nciv Zealaud. It was resolved to support tho Maiutwatu suggestion that a civilian agent be appointed at the front to look after ...■reels and letters. It was decided to establish a soldiers' club l'or men going to and coming from the front.
The Japanese are fond of bathing. In Tokio there arc eight hundred public bath-liouscs, in many of which a person can obtain a bath, hot or cold, for a sum equal to one cent.
