TA U HER IX IK ATI VACATED. Tho mounted men of the Sixth Reinforcements have now all vacated Taiiherinil tan Camp and have taken up their "residence" at Trentham until embarkation. Most of them arrived at Trentham on Saturday, the remainder, about 350, reaching Trentham yesterday morning. Both officers and men of tho. new arrivals were subjected to a searching medical examination and were found to be in fine fettle. Tho Seventh Reinforcements, who aro now on leave from Waikanae Camp, will resume their training at Tauheriuikau upon the termination of their leave. It is hoped by tho Defence authorities that tho postponement in tho date of calling up the Eighth Reinforcements, brought about" so unavoidably, will lie met ill a proper spirit by men and employers alike. Tho date of calling up the draft has now been definitely fixed for August 23, 24, and 25.
