Maltegarde, Medallist, Plunder, 'Haumakaka, Parewanui, and Leonta arrived from the north this morning.' (From Pur Snedal Correspondent.) Christchurch, August 6. It was an off day at Riccarton to-day, and very little work above half-pace was attempted. The 6and, tan, and schooling tracks were open. Rustic was some distance in front of the hunter Ormoloid at the termination of a run over half a mile on the. tan, which took sisec. Scrntineer (H. M'Sweeney) encompassed a round over the hurdles in a leisurely manner, jumping fairly well. Agatha Green (R. Gray) and Naupata. (H. M'Sweeney) were companions in a schooling task of once round over the country. The former-gave a mucin better display than she did yesterday, and Naupata fenced well until the last obstacle, when he got in rather too close and ■'bluntlered, though .without any damage befalling him.
