0 DESTROYING A HUT. ■ (By Telegraph. Dunatlln, August 4. "At Cromwell to-day, James Kirkman, alias James Turner, was charged with wilfully destroying a two-roomed hut at Waitiro, which was destroyed by fire on July 29, anrl also with threatening to destroy by fire the Victoria Bridge Hotel. Accused was committed for trial atDunedin.
