NATIONAL RESERVE

A ! meeting • of tho Island Bay-Ber-bamporo Company was held 011 Tuesday. It was resolved to increase the annual subscription, same to bo retrospective. The executive advised that Mr. H. F. Clark had been elected to the position of treasurer. The riiombcrship of the company is now over 200, and arrangements have been made for regular training classos and lectures for officers and non-coms. A largo room, capable of accommodating at least 150 persons, has been offored to the executive. All announcement was made to the effect that the Silver Mission Band had advised that its members were willing to join tho oompauy, and thus become tho recognised band of the company. This offer has been accepted with great satisfaction, nnd it is probable that 011 the next occasion when tho company parados tho band will bo in attendance.
