NATIONAL RESERVE

The members of B Company, National Reserve, Hataitai Subdivision, paraded on Monday evening in the Gymnasium for inspection by Major Firth, the officer commanding the 2nd Regiment of the National Reserve. After inspection tho company was put through a sories of company, platoon, and sectional movements by the platoon commanders, Lieuts: Rogers and Todd., Before returning to town, Major Firth expressed his pleasure at inspecting such a fine company, congratulated Major Amos and the men on the highly, creditable work done, and also on the' competition flag having gone to the B Company. Major Firth hoped that the B Company would muster in full force for tho public demonstration at tho Town Hall to be held this evening.
