At a meeting of the .Oamaru Trotting -Club to consider the recommendations of the Programme Committee, it was de-. cided'to increase the stakes by .£3OO, making the stakes for the annual meet-, ing on .Labour Day iiIOOO. It was a'so resolved to donate £100 to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. . • It is interesting 'to note that the club, which is by means an old established one, has- now donated to patriotic ■purpos_eß -the substantial' amount of ,£275, i£lso to the Belgian Fund being a percen tago of profits.on the last meeting, iC2o to the Patriotic Fund, and .£IOO to the Wounded Soldiers"Fun&
