EXPORT OF AUSTRALIAN COAL RESTRICTIONS RELAXED. (Rec. July 30, 8.5 p.m.) ' Melbourne, July 30. Mr. Fisher (Federal Prime Minister) has announced that the Imperial authorities have consented to relax the restrictions on the export of Australian coal under proper Consular guarantees. Regarding the. shipment of Austrv liah. coal to Britain, the Board of Trade had advised that owing to the high freights and .the high price of producing coal in Australia it was improbable that it could be placed in England on terms admitting of,competition with the local article.
