COAL PRICES BILL
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 23. The British Coal Bill las passed through Committee. A clauso was inserted exempting Ireland. (Rec. July '25, 3.35 p.m.) London, July 24. As the result of renewed protests against the Coal Prices Bill, Mr. Runciman lias accepted ail amendment that if a contract price is above the statutory prico, that contract may continue, subject to a reduction ill price. He said that it would ba impossible to arrange a Hat price for the small consumer.
