IRISH PARTY WILL RESIST CONSCRIPTION
SPEECH BY MR. JOHN DILLON,. M.P. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrijh.t (Rec. July 26, 5.5 p.m.) London, July 26. Mr. John Dillon (Nationalist M.P.), spoaking at Limerick, praised Ireland's response to the recruiting. Four thousand, he said, enlisted in Limerick, and proportionately, London should' recruit 800,000. Tho, Irish Party, he added, warned the Government that it would offer the Utmost resistance to conscription. Some of tlio Cabinet Ministers appeared to think tliat in order to secure a sweeping victory it was only necessary to adopt tho "worst feature of Prussianism, and introduce compulsion in military and industrial, service.
