GAMES IN FULL SWING AGAIN. ■ All fixtures set down for decision under tho jurisdiction of the Wellington Football Association took place on Saturday. Considering tlie lengthy spell players have had on account of weather and carnivals, etc., .surprisingly good form was shown. Y.M.C.A. A—Y.M.C.A, B. A real good game resulted in the meeting of the two Y.M.C.A. senior teams on the Basin Keserve. Past, open play characterised the match from beginning to end. With a littlo more experience the B's will have a very clever team in, tlio field. It was A's combination which'fold in the end. Judging by thp play, however, A's were' lucky to win, and really a drawn game would have been fair to both teams. As it was A's managed to win by the narrow margin of one'goal, tho final 6core being: As, 3 goals; B's, 2 goals. Phillips (2), and Carrutbers scored for the A's, and Daubney registered B's two goals. CORINTHIANS-WANDERERS. After an uninteresting gamo Corinthians defeated Wanderers by 4 goal to 1. Low, Ash (2), and Bullard scorcd for the winners, and Self for tho losers, Mr. Williams was referee. THISTLE-ROVERS. Thistle had a romping victory over Rovers, whom they accounted for by 6 goals to 0. W. Brownleo (5) and Waiker scored for .tlie winners. Mr. C. Webster was rpfcree. Third Class. Marist Bros.' defeated Brooklyn by 5 goals to 2. Fourth Clas. sMarist Bros, defeated Y.M.C.A'. by 1 goal to nil. IN OTHER CENTRES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.} Auckland, July 25.
