KEMP'S INFAMY. (Rec. July 2a, 3.30 p.m.) Pretoria, July 24. Justice Lange, in sentencing Kemp, emphasised the difference between De Wet and Kemp. The latter held the King's commission, and shortly before the rebellion actually co-operated with Maritz, whereas De Wet stated that he ' would have renounced Maritz if he found that the latter had been co-oper-ating Tvith the Germans. „ Tho unexpired sentonces of 300 burghsrs who refused to serve against tlio Germans have, been remitted.
