DUNEDIN TRAMWAY LOAN
RECOUNT SHOWS IT CARRIED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ■'
Dunedin, July 22. ■ As the result of a recount and. adjustment of informal votes, the Returning Officer, has discovered that the tramway loan proposal yesterday was carried by 312 votes to 311.." Last night it was announced that it had been lost by two votes. .
So far there has only-been a slight advance on the prices of the famous .Victor Cheese Vats, . and factories are now ordering in view of-a possible further increase.
