HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER APPOINTED.. At. yesterday's meeting of,,the Hospital and Charitable Aid ; Board the following, recommendation from .the ■Property, and Policy Committee was adopted:— ' "Tho secretary (Mr.> .J: Coyle) shall be the chief executive .officcr of the Hos-. ■pital in non-medical patters, and 6hall responsible for : the; ;upkeep of the and grounds; \He shall attend all meetings of the board and committees, (excepting such committees or/subcommittees ra.s in respect of ,whicli the chairman may approve of his delegating such power to some other officer), and shall their'proceedings. ■; '.'He; shall' have custody -of all boots and documents . belonging to .the board, shall summon':'all meetings;', receive all moneys, conduct all; official ' correspondence, and perform all clerical 'work pertaining to his office, and shall be tie responsible executive officer for carrying out the resolutions of the board in all matters not connected witn the treatment of patients. ,;' V: v- : ' "He shall directly control the clerical staff, and the heads of the various departments, who shall be responsible to him for the proper carrying out of tleir respective duties." '
