THE CAMPS IN THE RAIN
- : ■ MEN CHEERFUL, . The various camps are reported to he still; faring remarkably well in the bad weather. Excopting .for a few at RaHgiotu tho tents at all tho camps havo, been fitted with floor-boards, and that together with thoroughly prepared storm-water drainage schemes Beems to have afforded the men comparative comfort and dryness. There are dryingsheds erected at all the camps so that the men are assured a dry change. The weather cleared up at Rangiotu on Tuesday night, but at Waikanae it has been very, wet, the water, however, being successfully drained away.. The ground is naturally becoming slushy at Tauherinikau, but the tents remain dry nn dthe men are reported to be cheerfoil and comfortable.
