'',aiid Mitohelltown Householders' Association was hold in the Mission Hall, Aro Street, last night. -Mr.- C. W: iTanner,presided over an attendanco of between 60 and 70 residents. . The i Executive, Committee; reported. that it. had circulated a petition and / that over 200 1 signatures of bona-fide re'si- : dents had'; been obtained: thereto. • Tho following is the petition: — '.: i : "To His Worship ' tho Mayor,, and Councillors .of the City, of ; Wellington,— Wo tlio undersigned.ratepayers and electors of ''Arjj' Street; Mitohelltown,. and ■Taitville districts desire_ to .- lay before you the .claims-.of .'our district' to more consideration at' the hand's of your council : thaii it ; . has hitherto received;' more particularly would we refer to:.(!).
