For the half-year ending June 30 five vessels were equipped in Wellington with wireless plant by the Wellington office of Amalgamated Wireless, Australasia. Ltd. After having been laid up at Wellington for some weeks the coastal steamer Wakatu will be recommissioncil to-day. fiho will leave for Kaikoura and Lyttelton at 5 p.m. . Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Hner Port Pirie, which was recently sold to the Glasgow Steamship Co., has been Tenamed Kolvinbrae. Tho Mararoa leaves Wellington to-day for Auckland, where she will be docked for overhaul prior to entering the Sydney service. The vessel will be in charge of Captain Oharles Mac Lean, with Mr. Daniels (ln.te of the Aparimia) as, first officer. The O. and I), liner Indrapura. was to have left Sydney on Friday'for Auckland in continuation of her journey from London to Wellington. The vessel is to call <ut Napier before coming on to WeUington.
