As official report from Vienna states that Lemberg has been capturerd. "The Russian defensive forces were strongly held on the northwest and west fronts at Lemberg. The Landwehr at five o'clock on Tuesday morning stormed Rzezna and the works on the Janow-Lemberg road. "Simultaneously our troops from the north-west advanced across a height east of the Mlynewka rivulet and stormed several breastworks before Lysagora height, while further advances wore made in the direction of Lemberg. "The remaining works north and north-west were captured dttring the forenoon after sanguinary fighting. The Russian front was thus again broken. The official message from Vienna adds: —"Our troops are pursuing the enemy across the heights east and north-east of the town. A telegram from Przemysl states that the Russians attacked with great force north-east of Lemberg, striking at the German left flank, and thereby | stopping the German advance north of Lemberg. It is reportod from Czernowitz that Austrian reinforcements continue to arrive north of Kolomea and Stanislau, where the Russians havo assumed tho offensive, threatening the right flank of the Austro-Germans marching on Volhynia.
