Draught hordes sold exceptionally well, but were good sorts, making £35 to £50; aged horses, £17 to £21; breeding 60W6, £2 to £3 Us., iiged cows, in calf, £5 10s. to £8; and potters, down to £2 12s. 6d.; grade Holstcin bull, £7 17s. 6d.; grade Jersey bull, £10 10s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Woodvillc sale ol June 21:—We offered, a good yarding of sheep and cattle. There was improved demand for all daeses of stock, and we mifle practically a total clearance at prices satisfactory to vendors. Quotations:—s.m. ewes in lamb, 19s. Bd.; f.m. ewes in lamb, 13s. Id. to 15s. 4d.; fat ewes, 19s. 6(1.; woolly lambs, 14s. 3d. to 155.; fat steer, £8 155.; empty cows, £4 12s. to £5 155.; store cows, 335. to £2 12s. 3d.; heifers, in calf, £4 1 55.: weaner heifers, 225.; 10 dairy cows offered on behalf of Mr. J. Harris, jun., 7 were sola from £8 to £10, making the lirst-class ayorage of £9 35.; Shetland pony, £8. A heifer sold on account of Mr. J. O'Neill for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, realised £7 7s. 6d., being bought by Messrs. W. Logan, W. Curry,' and H. Boagley.
