Mr. Samuel Hordern has given £1000 to the Australia Day Fund, on condition that the money goes to the Rod Cross. If all tho monoy collected goes to the lied Cross, Mr. Hordern will give a further £1000. , i Mr. W. K. Holman (the State Pro" mier) states that the Red Cross will handle tho whole of the collected moneys.
