CZECH REGIMENT REVOLTS
'•WILL NOT FIGHT RUSSIAN BROTHERS." (Rec. June 23, 0.40' a.m.) London, June 22. A report from Buda Pest states that the 28th Regiment of Czech Infantry refused to fight in the recent Carpathian battles. The officers and men threw down their arms, Baying:— "Wo will not fight our Russian l>rotbers." Tho Emperor ordered the regiment to bo disbanded, their flag burnea, and an order to he published in the AustroGerinan armies announcing a revolt wliicli was described as high treason. Nearly every man in tho regiment was arrested, together with a number of Czech leaders.
