NEW ZEALANDERS AT QUINN'S POST Sydney, Juno 21. Captain Bean (official correspondent with the 'Australians), writing 0)1 • June 8, says that everything was quiet at Anzac, except at Quiim's l'ost, -where constant fighting by small parties resulted in a slight advance. The New Zealandors, after gallantly holding a trench for eight hours., were driven out by a fusilado of bombs. They again took ihe same trench, but were again driven out, leaving the position "as you were." TUBES ALLEGE BRITISH BATTLESHIP SUNK. (Rec. June 21, 5.45 p.m.) London, June 19. A report from Constantinople declares that a British battleship of the Agamemnon typo is lying, somi-submerged, in Kehalo Bay.—("Times and Sydney "Sun" Services.) ' [The Agamemnon and the Lord Nelson aro the only two ships of their class. They "are of the pre-Dreadnought type, completed 1907-08, of 16,500 tons displacement, 18J knots, and carry four 12-incli and ten 9.9-inch guns, with small armament.]
