HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The new artists at His Majesty's Theatre this wool: liavo captured the popular favour, and aro scoring l)ig successes nightly. Rozcel and Ross, with their clever comedy juggling act, in which they mako sport with incongruously assorted kitchen utensils, exr.ito thrills and laughter by turns. Dan Thomas perpetrates his boisterous humour to good purpose, and in tho act given by Tho Three Ruddles the crowd by turn admires tho acrobatic skill of tho performers, and laughs at the miniature Charles Chaplin. THE KING'S THEATRE. A strong savour of war is remarkable in tho King's Theatre programme for tho week. Tho feature film tells a story of the American Civil War, n magnificently produced drama, full of living interest and stirring incident. The Pat-he Gazette, too, deals almost wholly with incidents on the fringe of tho war, tho only topic of interest anywhere in the world to-day. There is also the usual allowance of oomio pictures. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The big picture at Everybody's_ Theatre just now is one describing vividly and strongly tho horrors of war, with tho gauze of glamour thorough which most non-combatants see them, torn awav. It is perhaps one of the best pictures of its sort yet attempted. The comedy section of the programme is good ,and the best item in it is tlhe Keystone farce "Hogan's Mussv Job." Hogan is for tlio occasion a plasterer, with extravagant ideas, most amazing lack of skill, and a fantastic notion of humour. THE EMPRESS THEATRE. The filial part of Selig's sensational wild animal drama "The Adventures of Kathlyn" will be screened to-day and to-night with the new programme at the Empress Theatre continuous pictures. The concluding section of tMs longthy serial film is stated to eclipse all preceding chapters of the story, providing a fitting climax to the production. The supporting items will comprise: ':Fatty'6 New Role" (Keystone comedy), "The Australian Gazette" (animated news), "The Choice" (Vitagraph drama), and "It Happened on Wash Day'"' (farce-comedy)
