Dunrobin Castle, . the scat of the Duko of Sutherland, has been partly burned through the fusing of an electrio wiro. The pictures and furniture wore saved.. A number of wounded soldiers, who were being cared for at the Castle, wore removed in time. Sayers, and Brickett has been set up, representing the counties of South Wairarapa and Featherston, for the purpose of assisting the Acclimatisation Society in giving more attention to the district in. respect to shooting and fishing. Cleopatra's Needlo weighs 180 tons. The Dead Sea is 1290ft-. below sea level.
