RUSSIAN SUCCESS AT ZARAVNO TIDE OF BATTLE ON THE DNIESTER • (By Telegraph.—Press Aeon.—Copyright,) ~ . Patrosrad, June IS. Official. —On the Shtvli-Anybeticola front we captured several villages. In the regions of Starojebo the Germans' violent attack failed a quarter of a mile from our trenches. In the region of Zaravno we captured 348 officers, 15,431 men, and much munitions and transport. • On the Nesviska-Zalostchiki front (north-ffest of Czemovitz) the enemy crossed the Dniester in several places. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner reports:— . London, June 14, 3 a.m. The Grand Duke Nicholas reports that at the battle of Zaravno the Russians captured three hundred and forty-eight officers and fifteen thousand four hundred and thirty men, seventy-eight machine guiiß, seventeen cannon, and a quantity of arms and transport. The enemy was driven back across the Dniester at Zaravno, and began on Saturday to cross the river oil the Nez-viska-Zaleszezki front. TZaleszezki is 25 miles west-north-west of Czemowitz (capital of Bukowina). and Nezviska is 25 miles west of Zaleszezki.] ENEMY'S NEW MOVEMENT ACROSS THE DNIESTER. (Rec. An Austrian official communique claims that the Austro-Germans captured Sieniawa, and afterwards storriled vantage points northward of the town, capturing 3500 Russians. "Our troops crossed the Bukowiiu frontier and occupied several places in Basarabia." RUSSIAN OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE. (Rec. June 14, 11.5 p.m.) . Petrograd, June 14. Official.—"Desperate fighting occurred on Saturday along the whole front at Advers, Vindava, and Dubissa. "The enemy north of I'rasuysz, after a heavy artillery fire, launched a furious infantry attack. Two German battalions were forced to abandon i their offensive east of the Mlava railway, after heavy losses. "There has been heavy fighting at the Bzura sector, where two divisions attacked. The battle continues. "On Saturday night the enemy in massed formation attacked in the Lower Labacstowka, in th" region of Mosciska, but suffered heavy losses, and did not resume the offertsive. "Our success at Zaravno has relieved the enemy's attacks on Halitz. "On Friday night our cavalry niado a fiery charge near Zaleszezki, against detachments which crossed the Dniester, sabred five hundred, and took prisoner two hundred."
