A' great deal of interest was evinced in the ploughing match at Wereroa, Levin, Experimental Farm last week, "he competitors in llie match were five lads, learners on the farm, and tlieir ages (says the "Horowhenua Chronicle") ranged from ]5 to 17 years. Eighteenpence per pound for buttcrfat supplied during May and also threepence per pfmnd additional for tho March supply will be paid out by the Levin Dairy Company this month, says the Horowhenua "Chronicle." The bonus for March increases the total price por pound for that month's fat to fifteenpence. Tho total disbursement on Juno 20 by the company will exceed £2000.
