PURCHASE OF BEEF
FOR BRITAIN AND FRANCE. London, Jun® 10. Mr. E. G. Pretyman (Secretary of the Board of Trade), in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said it had been agreed that Britain should purchase beef for both France and Britain. Tho price would therefore be the same to both. It would not be in the financial interest to publish tho price.
