A CURIOUS SEQUEL
TWO FISHERMEN SECURE A BARQUE (Reo, Juno 7, 0.10 a.m.) London, June 6. A curious sequel to the alleged minng of the Montrosa, cabled on. June 2, 3 revealed. A fisherman, named Sam loldane, while in. the North Sea, oberved a three-masted barque full of ail, and casually hailed her. Receivng no reply, he scrambled aboard with .'comrade, and found the vessel deserted. Ho realised ,ho was in possession if an undamaged prize worth many housands of pounds. Holdano and his mate navigated the ilontrosa to Bridlington, and claimed icr as a prizo. Apparently the Montrosa struck somehing during the night, and the_ crew a a panic rushed the boats, without waiting to ascertain tlio damage. It was reported on June 2 that the iussian barque Montrosa, from Hull to {ova Scotia, was mined in tlio North lea, and that tlio crow were saved.
