The Wellington District Officers and . the Grand Master of New Zealand have j signified their intention of attending | the annual meeting of the Wairarapa Past Grand's Lodge of Oddfellows, to ! be held in Carterton in July. A patriotic performance by tho local 1 picture company, held here on Thnrs- ' day evening last, netted £22 for tho ! Hospital Ship Fund. ' Mr. T. W. Vose, who last year won the _ North Island Championship for Utility in White Leghorns at the Mas- 1 terton Show, is competing at tho < Christchurch Show next week, and is '■ sending down a very strong "team." s The inmates of Carterton's Aged I Alan's Home were entertained at a con- ® cert evening on Thursday, which they 1 much appreciated.
