The money raised by the Gisborne "Times" for the relief of the Servians (fcilOO) was handed over to the Salvation Army authorities last week, to be forwarded to General Booth. A cablegram was received at National Headquarters yesterday from the General, acknowledging the sum, and stating that ho had dispatched Colonel Govaars, a Dutch officer and a mail of considerable linguistic abilities, to Servin to arrange for the distribution of the money.
