"BLOOD AND IRON" IN BELGIUM
FIRE, PILLAGE, AND SHOOTING. Paris, May 28. The provincial administration of Brabant has issued statistics which show that during the German occupation of the Brabant district 5842 houses were burned, 16,000 damaged or pillaged, 834 civilians, men, women, anil children shot, and 112 sent to Germany.
