OFFICERS ON PROBATION
Practically the whole of the new main force to be known as the Tieiitham "Regiment. ("Eurl of Liverpool's Own") are now in camp. Further ssctions of this force, which consists of 2000 infantry and 600 artillery, arrived on Saturday and' yesterday, and the full strength (of in-
fantry) 'is assured. The artillery quota has been in camp for some weeks past, together with the officers and non-coms. Tho men are, generally speaking, of a good stamp, and at the end of the four months' training they will undergo at Trentham are expected to be fully up to the standard of the Reinforcements which have already gone forward.
