f ALCOCK'S DINER. TOURNAMENT. ] The two concluding games in the first ! round were played at_ 5 p.m. yesterday. Lockwood (received 40) beat i Brown (scr.), by a very small margin. Tho winner did not get going until to- j wards the very end of the game, when , he managed to score several service- j able breaks and leave liis opponent ( positions that were extremely difficult. ; Kell (scr.) beat Croll rather ccmfortably. The winner plays a very nice cue, and lias sliown remarkable progress since last year. The revised handicaps for the A and i B sections are now being completed ( and should be ready almost- immedi- J p.tely. 1
