GOLF-AND THE PATRIOTIC FUND

Golfers, and all interested in tie game, will be pleased to hear that they will, on Saturday, June 5, on the Miraniar links, have an opportunity of seeing a most interesting match, and 0110 which should provide the best exhibition of the game that could be seen in Now Zealand, the players who have consented to take part in it being: JJr. Arthur Duncan (amateur champion), K. S. Douglas (open and professional champion), J. Watt (professional to Wellington Golf Club), and J. M'Cormicl; (Professional Unit ami Knrori). Mr. 'Duncan and Watt will .play Douglas and M'Cormicl;. The match has been arranged fts a means ol' assisting the Patriotic lAinds, and a charge of 2s. fid. will lie made. It is anticipated, that with the prospect of such a fine exhibition of the game, ;,nd lor such a worthy object, there will bo a great demand for tickets.
