SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

At the Sailors' Friend Society room last night a pleasant entertainment was provided by Mr. P. Aitken and party. A conundrum competition was held, and won by sailors from vessels in port, "he missioner, Mr. Moore, invited friends of the society to send in discarded books and magazines for the use of seamen. At the close the missioner moved a hearty vote of thanks to the performers—Mrs. M'Kay, Misses Flaws, Snow, M'Gee, Rev, Perryman, Messrs. Gcgdale, Brown. Worth, Peeke, Cameron, Aitken, and Lynberg. Miss Flaws was tho accompanist.
