SMUGGLING OPIUM

TWO CHINESE CHARGED. iMv roliisrranh.-l'resfl Association.) Napier, May 20. Two Chinese members of tlie crow of the Cape Finisterrc from Philadelphia, Yong Fu and Ah Lai, appeared at the Police Court to-day, charged with smuggling opium, and were remanded till Monday. Accused were arrested on the wharf last night, when they had in their possession fifteen tins of opium, valued at about £70. The drug is of very fino quality.
