Fines were imposed on the following;— Michael Francis M'Hugh, fined £1 with costs 75.; Hollis Law, 10s.. with costs . 75.; Eric Andrew Brasoh, Albert Edgar, and Ernest O'Neill, each fined, / 55., with costs 75.; Harry D. Crisp and William J H. Brown were each cautioned and discharged. The alternative was fixed afc three days' military detention in each case. • . Three young cadets were charged with, obstructing drill at Newtown on March 31 last. The eldest, William Melville, who was the cause of the trouble, was fined 10s., with .costs 75., in default 48 hours' military detention, while _ the younger boys were severely cautioned and discharged.
