REGISTRATION OF BIRTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christohuroh, May 13. In the Supremo Court to-day Walter Charles Hooper was Sentenced to threo months' imprisonment for 'giving false information for the registration of the death of an illegitimate child. The information given by Hooper made the child appear legitimate, and the Crown's case waß that Hooper gave false details to prevent investigations into his taking a premium for the adoption of the child.
