M'KINNON CUSTOMS CASES. (By Telegraph.—Press Assochition.i Chrlstohurch, May 6. The trial of John Alexander M'Kinnott on charges of fraud and theft in connection with the Customs . " concluded to-day. Mr., S. G. Raymond, K.C., with him Mr. A. F. Wright, appeared, for the Crown, and Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr. W. J. Hunter, appeared for accused. _ The jury, after a lengthy retirement, in the evening returned a verdict of not guilty.
