MANAWATU HUNT
Mr. L. N. Campbell presided at the annual meeting of the Hutt branch of the Manawatu Hunt Club, held last evening. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—Vicepresidents. Messrs. J. O'Meara and C. F. Vallance; deputy-master, Major A. M. Samuel; secretary, Mr. E. Evison; treasurer, Mr. N. S. Campbell; committce. Messrs. Dick, Hunter, Walsho, Manning, and Mackie; lion, surgeon, Dr. Minims; lion, veterinary surgeon, Mr. F. Crossley; whip, Mr. P. Lambert. Iho branch proposes to form a mounted unit of the National Reserve.
